His Shepherds
Lord, I can almost see the shepherds rushing about in the wilderness.
What a reverential moment as the shepherds entered in and saw exactly what the angels had announced to them. There, lying in a manger, surrounded by Mary and Joseph and the cattle and oxen was the baby Jesus, the little king born to save the world.
My eyes fill up with tears as I envision that wonderful moment of revelation. God you are one who doesn’t lie.
Jesus fulfilled exactly what was foretold, including what all the angels declared to the shepherds.
Unto us a child is born, Emanuel, God with us. You are with me, Jesus, and pleased to dwell among your people. You took on the form of humanity and experienced every emotion I do, yet, you were fully divine and overcame the works of the flesh. .
Today, I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I will praise you all the days of my life. Not just on Christmas but all the days of my life. I will worship and adore you for there is none like you nor ever will be. In Jesus name, amen.
Christmas Celebration
Our family tradition was to go to my grandparents. My grandmother had huge family events each year and invited friends and family. How do you celebrate Christmas each year? What is your most memorable Christmas?
