A mission statements provides clarity, focus, and purpose to a business. Why the business exists, what it does and how it impacts the world. It acts as a roadmap, aligning everyone from leaders to customers towards shared goals, boosting engagement, culture, and long-term success.

First, ask yourself what is my mission in all this? Mission – To teach others to see God’s artistry through their camera lens.

  • What do you want to accomplish?
  • How do you plan to accomplish these things?
  • Who is the population; ages, gender, geography, income, etc.?

Evaluate your statement by answering these questions:

  • Does it reflect the organizations values and beliefs?
  • Does it reflect the needs of those you seek to help?
  • Is it powerful?
  • Would you be proud to see it published in the local newspaper?

Other uses for a mission statement: business plan, a website, public relations, fundraising, and collaborating with other like minded people or organizations.
